Smallbird Games is home to the work of Carly Smallbird (also published as Carly Ho). That's me!

My formal gaming experience started with my college's live action gaming club, but in my teens I was roleplaying on web forums, and have always enjoyed the particular magic of emergent storytelling that happens when ideas collide unexpectedly.

I want to make games that are smartly written and invite players to invent the new while hearkening to things close to their hearts; I want to give people room to make a mess and care a lot about it, and my favorite themes are diaspora, living in a complicated world making complicated choice, ephemerality, grief, and loving the world anyway. ✌️
